Sue Johnston helps you talk so people listen, listen so people talk, and change the world, one conversation at a time. She’s an experienced professional coach and trainer who specializes in interpersonal communication and teamwork. A former journalist, she enjoyed a career as an employee communication specialist, introducing technical, procedural, organizational and regulatory change in large financial institutions. That led to the launch of It’s Understood Communication to help build better teams through improved interactions.
With a background in IT, an MBA, professional training as a coach and a base in Waterloo, Ontario, Sue is actively involved in the agile community. She’s a regular speaker at agile conferences and events and a facilitator for open space/coach camps. She has developed and leads coach and facilitator training programs accredited by ICAgile.
Sue’s a master certified coach (IAC-MMC), an ICAgile Certified Coach (ICP-ACC) and Facilitator (ICP-ATF), an IABC-Canada Master Communicator and the author of ‘Talk To Me: Workplace Conversations That Work.’ She is also a partner at Leanintuit.
